The Commander Free Docker image is the whole cockpit for one person: one project, two concurrent Claude Code sessions, built-in personas, transcripts kept in your own PostgreSQL. Personal, non-commercial use, no card, no clock. When you outgrow it, Personal and Team are the same image with a license key.\n\nWe hand out the image by email so we can send the pull command, the compose file and the first-run notes together. That is the only reason we ask.

What is in the Commander Free Docker image
One project, two sessions
Enough to run a builder and a reviewer side by side on one repo. Sessions are tabs with names, not terminals hiding behind terminals.
Personas and boot prompts
The built-in personas and prompt library ship in the image. Write your own once, launch from it every time.
Your own PostgreSQL
Transcripts, screenshots and git state land in a database you run. Nothing about your sessions leaves the machine.
Bring your own Claude
Use your Claude subscription or an API key. Commander meters what each session spends in Token Analytics, by model.
Commander Free questions
Why do I have to give an email for a free Docker image?
Because the pull command comes with a compose file and first-run notes, and email is the least annoying way to hand all three over at once. We do not add you to a list.
Does Commander Free phone home?
No. It has no telemetry. The only outbound calls are the ones your Claude Code sessions make to Anthropic.
Can I use Commander Free at work?
For your own internal work, on your own laptop, yes. Agency use is commercial use, and so is anything a client pays for. That needs an Enterprise agreement.
How do I upgrade?
Personal is $20 a month for unlimited projects and sessions; Team is $100 a month for five people. Same image, a license key unlocks the rest.
